The telegraphers
I believe that Richard Sampson is second from the left on the back row of this photo of the ship's telegraphers.

Thanks to Wartime Memories two ex sailors from HMS Seychelles have met up again for the first time since the war. These were Richard Sampson, now living in the US and my father Douglas Shorrock.

My father Ernest Mancell James served aboard HMS Seychelles during the war. He came from Blaydon in Gateshead/Newcastle upon Tyne area. Anyone who remembers him please contact me. My father is still fit and well and living Gateshead he would love to hear from any fellow sailors.

Thanks in anticipation, Carolyn Leech

I am sad to announce that my grandfather Jacob Hefferton, has passed away on March 7/02 at the age of 80yrs. If anyone has any info or pictures of the HMS Seychelles would you be so kind to let me know as I am trying to get a few pictures for his Headstone.

Thank you very much, email me with any info at canadianemt@canada.com

I am trying to contact any remaining members of the crew of HMS Seychelles, a Colony Class Frigate K592. I served in her 1944/1945. Any leads would be appreciated.
