World War 2 Two II WW2 WWII

Information.

PT 171 was one of a number of small but incredibly fast ships, build of wood that were designed to harass the Japanese navy.

Last year my grandfather, Frank Kassay (USN S 1/c) passed away. He served on PT-171 in the South Pacific and he had a deck-log from his days on station. I've converted that deck-log into a web site. The site contains the entries for every day from Sept 44 to May 45, and I invite you to come visit and stand on the sunny deck for a while.
