World War 2 Two II WW2 WWII

Information.

White Cross POW Camp 115 was situated near St. Columb Major, in Cornwall.

Today the site is the used as a holiday park.

I am hoping to find information and maybe even pictures of the Italian prisoner of war camp White Cross St. Columb Major Cornwall towards the end of the war.

My mother is Italian and has been living here in England since the end of the war, but her brother Mino Mini who still lives in Florence would be quite interested if you had any information or feedback from other prisoners.

My mother does have a picture of Mino outside one of the camp huts during his stay and he looks back to it with fairly fond memories as they were all treated very well in the camp.

Robert Corley
UPDATE:

I have been kindly forwarded a picture of St Columb Major Italian POW camp from a contributor to you site, Mathew Palmer
