I am looking for information on the 191st Field Regiment Royal Artillery. I have just received my late father-in-law's Army Service papers and this was the regiment he went into in December 1942.
I have also seen reference to a book entitled:- View From the Bridge: The Story of the 191st Field Regiment of the Royal Artillery, the Herts and Essex Yeomanry, 1942-1944 by David A.Lamb and would very much like to obtain a copy. Any help gratefully appreciated.

My grandad who is still alive was in the Royal Field Artillary if that is of any help? He was based in France, Holland, Germany and Belgium throughout the war. He also played in the football team definately in 1941 as he told me only 3 days ago. Regards Samantha..x
