HMS Fearless was the 5th Royal Navy ship to bear the name. She was launched in 1913, an Active class cruiser. she saw action in the battle of Heligoland in 1914 and in battle of Jutland as the leader of the First Destroyer Flotilla. In 1916 Fearless was the leader of the 12th submarine flotilla of the Grand Fleet. HMS Fearless was sold in 1921 and was scrapped. This photo is one of my Great Uncle, Charles Watts in WWI.
