Nachtjagdgeschwader 11

The bases they flew from were:



Oberleutnant Günter Koeberich was a Luftwaffe Ace. Amongst the aircraft he sahot down are:

  • Stirling III BK698 shot down over The North Sea on 21/4 1943 Raed about this incident
  • Manchester shot down and force-landed on tidal mud-flats on the island of Sylt, Germany 30th April 1942, Corporal Schubert, Koeberich's gunner was killed by gunfire from the Manchester. Read about the crew
