World War 2 Two II WW2 WWII

Information.

17th Armored Engineer Battalion were part of the 2nd Armored Division "Hell on Wheels". They saw action in North Africa and Western Europe.

I was hoping to gain as much information as possible concerning my dad who was with the 17th Armored Engineer Battalian Company A from Fort Benning, GA during the European campaign of WW II. He has since passed away. His name was Adelard "Henry or Cappy" Pelletier. He stood at only 5"3" and was a cook for the Company A. All that I know is that he served in WW II from 1943 through 1945 entering the campaign in Italy and departing in Normandy. I believe that he fought in Belgium in the Battle of the Bulge.

I would love to hear from anyone who remembered him and would love to make a donation to this site if any information is found.
