Raiding Support Regiment

The Raiding Support Regiment was formed at Camp ta Azzeb, Palestine, from British, South African and Rhodesian volunteers. The men were equipped with heavy weapons and provided support to other special forces. The regiment was disbanded in 1945.

I would like to share this photo of my father, Andrew (Jock) Skinner of D Squadron Raiding Support Regiment. My father is on the left and the man on the right is A. Way from Cricklewood. The photo was taken in Bari, Italy 1944.
