Information. The Westminster Regiment was formed in 1910 as the 104th Regiment. They saw action during both world wars. Eric Herbert Moore H 102529 Westminster Regiment. Here is a list of 18 members of the Westminsters who were killed at the Melfa River crossing in Italy on May 24,1944; Lieut.R Ketcheson, Sgt.F W Becker, L/Cpl.E E Webb, Cpl.C M Rice, Cpl. J R Crowther and Privates M J Neill, N Fruno, W W E Doss, W M Drummond, F G Jeffrey, V O Knudsen, H J Lawrence, I E Lindstrom, T Richard, D Thompson, M R Tocker, J D Keller and E H Moore who was my uncle.
