Information. RAF Hartford Bridge, also called Blackbushe situated 10 miles South East of Reading in Hampshire was a fighter airfield, it opened in 1943. The RAF moved out in 1946 and today the site is used as Blackbushe Airport. Squadrons stationed at Hartford Bridge / Blackbushe No: 88 Squadron No: 322 (Dutch) Squadron.
